Wish I was there...
The title: Word of God: the Filter for our Lives. I think that is limiting its real function. Too often we determine what WE want to do, and then filter what WE want to do through the word of God to see if it is ok. Ideally, we should be using the word of God to be our source of tasks. That is, we read the Bible to determine what to do - not only as a filter to make sure that what we want is ok.
The title more represented the focus of the forum than the definition of the topic.
